Over the last few days, I have been contemplating why it seems that most movies or shows have a “damsel in distress” character and how this relates to the feminine energy. Why is it that the side that has the “damsel” always wins? It is because this feminine energy ensures continuation of their kind and their agenda, and eventually leads to the extinction of the ones that lack the feminine energy? How does this relate to nature? Why is this feminine portrayal most always in the role of needing to be rescued? These are just a few of the questions that have been coming to mind during my introspections. Over the next few days, I will be providing a link to some articles relating to this subject. Some deal with the feminine and others ask us not to forget about the Divine Masculine while working with the Divine Feminine.
In addition, I’ll be providing some ideas to ponder as well as some commentary on a few of the articles. These posts are not normally heard in main stream media, and while I do not internalize everything that I read, hear, or see, I am open to hear new and familiar ideas. These posts and links to articles will simply be a way of providing information for you to ponder and to allow us to keep expanding our minds to embrace new possibilities.I come across a lot of people that are looking for change in their lives yet seem to be closed off or against trying something that is new or foreign according to the way they are used to thinking or acting. I grew up thinking that things “absolutely” had to be done a certain way “or else!” so it feels good to be able to know that there are other paths. I hope that you will enjoy the different opinions. Please offer any insights that these articles or questions arouse in you.
The first article in the series is called, “Seasonal Eating and Healing”. It speaks of the notion that many people are seeking to “save the planet” yet are detached from it. This brings to mind the thought of whether a lot of people see themselves as the only saving grace for the earth or whether they do not see the earth as being able to correct her self. Though I feel many changes need to be made concerning our care for the earth, she is definitely not incompetent. I chose this article because it speaks of the “damsel in distress” notion concerning the planet.
